Nisha brings over 15 years of experience in direct investing and value creation, portfolio management, business strategy consulting and engineering for major multinational companies. Nisha applies this broad experience to her day-to-day role of overseeing new ventures, building them from the lab to commercial businesses. As venture director, Nisha focuses on licensing new patents, developing the business strategy, overseeing operations and financial planning for portfolio companies.
Before joining Miraki Innovation, Nisha was the vice president at GE Capital’s Private Equity group. Nisha played a key role in originating, underwriting and managing investments in several markets. Before GE Private Equity, she was an associate at McKinsey & Company where she advised Fortune 500 companies on marketing and pricing strategies. Nisha started her career as a computer engineer at Schlumberger in Texas.
She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Osmania University in India, a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
